Michael Porter Jr. Misses Another Practice
1 year agoDenver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (ankle) didn't practice on Thursday and is unlikely to participate in the final day of training camp on Friday. The 25-year-old suffered a sprained left ankle during practice on Wednesday and left the facility in a walking boot. Fortunately, the injury isn't expected to keep him off the floor when the Nuggets begin their title defense on October 24 versus the Los Angeles Lakers. Porter had a quality year in 2022-23, averaging 17.4 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 41.4% from deep. Unquestionably, fantasy managers have benefitted from his presence on their rosters, although his inability to stay healthy has been an issue going back to his collegiate days.
