1 year agoMichael McDowell qualified seventh for Sunday's Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway. While he has had a solid 2023 season, he is currently sitting at 16th in the standings and is likely to be among the first four out when the second round begins in two weeks. Despite showing tremendous speed during Saturday's qualifying, his starting position is too high to hit value for DFS this week. At $7,100 on DraftKings, the 17-year Cup veteran would have to finish no worse than eighth to hit near the 5x value typically needed from our DFS plays. Given his underwhelming history at Kansas and the lack of place differential he offers, it is best to fade the No. 34 this weekend at Kansas.--Adam Erhardt - RotoBaller
