Michael McDowell Looks For Another Top Ten At Pocono
1 year agoMichael McDowell has two top ten results in his past five races on the 2.5-mile Pocono course. He was eighth last year but that position got boosted to sixth when Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch were disqualified due to a piece of tape. The Front Row Motorsports driver started 25th in 2022 and 15th this year. McDowell's No. 34 car can get near the front early as he has shown in the past two appearances (10th and 6th after Stage 1). McDowell currently occupies the 16th and final spot in the chase. He is truly on the bubble in every way with six races to go until the playoffs.
