3 years agoCincinnati Reds pitcher Michael Lorenzen (shoulder) will be used out of the bullpen once he returns from the 60-day injured list, according to Reds manager David Bell. He has been sidelined all season long while recovering from a shoulder strain. Before that, Lorenzen was battling for a rotation spot during spring training. It sounds like the Reds feel that the hard-throwing righty will be more helpful out of the bullpen. It's unlikely that he offers much fantasy upside unless he is used in high leverage situations when he returns. Fantasy managers can continue to avoid Lorenzen for the moment, but he could be an interesting mid-season fantasy addition.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
