Michael Kopech Will Start Game 2 Of Doubleheader On Friday
4 years agoChicago White Sox manager Tony La Russa announced on Thursday that pitcher Michael Kopech will draw his third start of the season in Game 2 of Friday's doubleheader versus the Kansas City Royals. Kopech has mainly pitched out of the bullpen, but has made two starts this season. He has looked dominant in both roles and will enter the matchup with a 1.61 ERA, 35 strikeouts and eight walks in 22 1/3 innings. La Russa has used the fireballer in about every role this season and he has looked lights out every time that he's been on the mound. Kopech should be universally rostered and holds his most value in dynasty leagues.
