1 year agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Michael Kopech (shoulder) has been placed on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation. Kopech initially was given Sunday off, a game in which he was slated to start, as Touki Toussaint was given his turn. An hour or so later he was placed on the injured list so this is a bit of a surprise. The team should provide an update on his status later on Sunday.
