Michael Kopech Allows Three Homers In Tuesday Start
1 year agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Michael Kopech turned in another rough outing in Tuesday's 7-3 loss to the Cubs. Kopech labored through five innings, allowing five runs (four earned) on nine hits (including three home runs) and one walk with five strikeouts. The 27-year-old has been very inconsistent this season with the major issues being walks and HR. He now owns a 4.44 ERA with a 9.89 K/9 rate, 5.36 BB/9 rate, and 2.03 HR/9 rate through 19 starts. His next start should be a decent matchup against the Guardians, but fantasy managers would be understandably hesitant to start him given his very low floor.
