Michael King May Start During Doubleheader Sunday
4 years agoNew York Yankees right-handed pitcher Michael King may be tabbed to make his second start of the season Sunday against the Mets. The Yankees will need five starters in three days with doubleheaders set to bookend the weekend series following last week's cancellations. King has delivered a 6.59 ERA across his first four appearances (one start), although he has produced a 1.10 WHIP. Looking ahead, King should begin to see his numbers find their level as he has allowed just a 28.9 Hard Hit %, along with a 4.21 xERA. He may have some DFS appeal depending on which contest he starts, but check back to get confirmation of his return to the starting rotation.
