Michael King Again Brilliant In Yankees Loss
1 year agoNew York Yankees pitcher Michael King made another terrific start Wednesday night against the Toronto Blue Jays. This was by far King's best start since transitioning from the bullpen late last month. The righty went seven innings and struck out 13, giving up one run on five hits and zero walks. He threw 101 pitches, 75 for strikes. King has pitched well enough as a starter to set himself up for a spot in the New York rotation next year, and he's given fantasy managers something to look at in the offseason. Going into the night, King had a 1.93 ERA as a starter over six games.
