Michael Harris II Day-to-Day With Back Ailment
2 years agoAtlanta Braves manager Brian Snitker has said that outfielder Michael Harris II (back) is day-to-day after he hurt his back during a play at the wall in Thursday's contest, according to David O'Brien of The Athletic. It's positive news for the 22-year-old and fantasy managers, as he'll likely avoid an injured list stint, but there's no word on how long he'll have to sit out. Harris II came out of nowhere during his rookie season in 2022, slashing .297/.339/.514 with 19 home runs, 20 stolen bases, 75 runs, and 64 RBI in 114 games. It'll be hard to repeat those numbers, and so far, he's hitting just .217 with no homers and two steals, but he definitely has the skill set to continue to be a power and speed threat going forward.
