Michael Grove Officially Activated, Will Start On Saturday
1 year agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Michael Grove (groin) has been officially activated from the injured list and will start on Saturday against the New York Yankees. It's been known for a few days that the Dodgers would make this move but it's official now. Grove has been out for the last six weeks with a right groin strain but has performed well in Triple-A on his rehab assignment. He struggled with an 8.44 ERA over his first 16 innings to start the season but he should be better the second time around. He's taking Gavin Stone's spot in the rotation after he was optioned back to Triple-A earlier this week. Left-handed relief pitcher Justin Bruihl has been optioned in a corresponding move.
