3 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup (ankle) was forced to leave Thursday's game against the Tampa Bay Bucs about half way through the second half due to a left ankle injury. Gallup was able to walk off the field under his own power, but he never seemed close to returning despite it being a close game all the way to the end. Before getting hurt, Gallup was on the field for almost as many snaps as Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb. The Cowboys take on the Chargers in Week 2, so Gallup will have 10 days to heal up for that contest. If he is forced to miss time, Cedrick Wilson would slide in as the third wide receiver on the Dallas depth chart.
