1 year agoChicago Cubs relief pitcher Michael Fulmer (forearm) has been placed on the 15-day injured list with a forearm issue on Saturday. The 30-year-old righty was recently activated from the injured list on September 11 after dealing with the same forearm issue but only made one appearance for the Cubbies before landing back on the IL. Fulmer has put together a 4.42 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and 65:28 K/BB ratio over 58 appearances this year but there's a good chance his regular season is finished. Reliever Daniel Palencia was recalled from Triple-A Iowa in a corresponding move.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
