3 years agoDetroit Tigers relief pitcher Michael Fulmer (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Sunday due to a right shoulder strain. Pitcher Jason Foley was called up from Triple-A to fill Fulmer's roster spot. Fulmer's injury history makes any injury to his throwing arm scary. Tigers manager A.J. Hinch told the media, "We need to run a full battery of tests to see exactly what it is that we're dealing with. We don't think it's structural." We should know more about the extent of Fulmer's injury in the following week. For now, expect to see Gregory Soto and Jose Cisnero earn the bulk of the save opportunities for the Tigers.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
