Michael Fulmer Closes Out Thursday's Win
3 years agoDetroit Tigers relief pitcher Michael Fulmer closed out the team's 10-7 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Thursday to earn his 13th save of the year. He pitched a scoreless ninth inning, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one. The 28-year-old reliever has recorded five of his 13 saves this month. He's only allowed one earned run over 13 innings in September. He's the top candidate for saves in Detroit the rest of the way this year. Fantasy managers in need of saves for the final weekend of the season should consider adding him if he's available.
