Michael Crabtree Primed For Red-Zone Role
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens wide receiver Michael Crabtree is primed for a significant role in the red zone with Breshad Perriman being cut on Saturday. The team's tight end corps took a blow early in the preseason with a foot injury to first-round rookie Hayden Hurst, and while his replacement Mark Andrews showed well to finish out the preseason, it's a safe bet that Crabtree will be the primary beneficiary in the red zone. Look for Crabtree to finish the season in the eight to 10 touchdown range in an offense that will lean on his size and ability to get the ball in the end zone as quarterback Joe Flacco's primary receiving target.
