Michael Conforto Launches Home Run on Monday
6 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto went 2-for-4 with a home run on Monday against the New York Yankees. Conforto helped provide run support for starter Jacob deGrom when he took reliever A.J. Cole deep in the top of the seventh inning. The young outfielder now has a modest five-game hitting streak and has posted a .353 average in his last nine games with two home runs. Overall, it has been a struggle for Conforto this season, but he is starting to show some signs of life for the Mets.
