Michael Conforto Homers in Loss on Tuesday
6 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run on Tuesday in a loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. The long ball came off Dodgers southpaw Rich Hill, and it was Conforto's 21st of the season. The 25-year-old has homered twice in his last three games, but is still hitting just .229 on the season. At this point, it's best to chalk this up as a lost season and hope Conforto returns to his 2017 form when he hit .279 with 27 home runs.
