Michael Conforto Homers Before Exiting With Injury
6 years agoThe New York Mets had a nightmare of a day Thursday as the dropped a game against the Washington Nationals, subsequently losing the series. Additionally, they lost Jeff McNeil and Michael Conforto to injury. The latter drilled a game-tying, three-run home run in the third inning. Two innings later, he collided with Robinson Cano chasing down a pop-up and wound up exiting the game with what was later diagnosed as a concussion. The 26-year-old will return to New York for further tests.
