Michael Conforto Doubles, Drives In One In Mets Loss
3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto went 1-for-3 with a double and RBI in the Mets 4-3 loss to the Phillies on Friday. Conforto is now hitting .321/.394/.357 with four RBI and three runs scored over his last seven games (28 at-bats). While it has been a disappointing season for Conforto overall, given his poor .227 average to go with just 12 homers and 49 RBI, he is showing signs of life at the plate suggesting a bounce-back in 2022. Managers in dynasty formats should continue to remain patient with Conforto and see how he performs at the start of the 2022 campaign to determine whether 2021 was simply a one-off, down season for the 28-year old.
