Michael Conforto Activated, In Lineup Wednesday Night
3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto (hamstring) has been activated from the injured list and is in the starting lineup for Wednesday night's contest with the Braves. Conforto is getting the start in right field and batting third against Atlanta starter Kyle Wright, as he will make his first appearance since May 16 after missing over a month due to a "significant" hamstring injury. He was having a down year prior to the injury, slashing .230/.356/.336 with two homers, 13 RBI and 10 runs scored over 33 games. Hopefully the time away will have allowed him to find his swing, and allow him to put up better numbers going forward.
