Michael Carter Returns To A Backup Role In Week 14
2 years agoNew York Jets running back Michael Carter returned to a backup role behind new Jets starter Zonovan Knight. Carter ran the ball five times for a total of five yards and caught three passes on six targets for 15 additional yards. Meanwhile, Knight ran the ball 17 times and was the clear lead back with Carter coming in for a change of pace. Carter's fantasy value for the remainder of the season seems dependent on Knight's health. As long as the rookie is healthy, Carter will likely remain in a support role with little fantasy relevance.
