2 years agoNew York Jets running back Michael Carter has fallen out of favor in most formats ahead of a Week 5 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Rookie Breece Hall was clearly in command of the backfield in Week 4, when Carter ran for just 15 yards on nine carries. Hall and Carter were mostly splitting things evenly through the first three weeks, but Week 4 was the rookie's emergence which unfortunately meant Carter had to take a step back. While their usage could change, it seems unlikely to as Hall has been very effective and has a three-down skillset. Carter is looking like an insurance policy for those with Hall on their roster and little else. He's not a recommended starter in Week 5 lineups.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
