Michael Busch Extends On-Base Streak To 21 Games
2 years agoAfter a 3-for-6 effort, Los Angeles Dodgers second base prospect Michael Busch has extended his on-base streak to 21 straight games with Triple-A Oklahoma. The UNC product is off to a blisteringly hot start, slashing .325/.458/.494 with two home runs, 14 RBI, and 16 runs. While his bat is good enough for the big leagues, his atrocious defense limits his potential. With a surplus of hitting-only talent already on the Dodgers roster, it'll be difficult for the 25-year-old to get in swings with the Dodgers major league squad. Don't think to stash Busch just yet, but keep an eye on him, even if it's just to witness how long this on-base streak last.
