Michael A. Taylor Doubles, Drives In Run On Monday
3 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Michael A. Taylor helped the team defeat the Pittsburgh Pirates 7-3 on Monday. Taylor went 2-for-4 in the game with a double and an RBI. Through 47 games on the year, Taylor is slashing .255/.309/.386 with five home runs, four stolen bases, 18 RBI and 19 runs. He has an abysmal 35.2% strikeout rate, which ranks in the bottom 3% of the league. Taylor has the potential to be a solid power/speed asset. His 111.5 mph max exit velocity ranks in the 81st percentile and he also ranks in the 87th percentile in sprint speed. However, he's buried in the Royals lineup and just hasn't been consistent enough to warrant a spot on fantasy rosters yet.
