3 years agoDallas Cowboys star linebacker Micah Parsons and left tackle Tyron Smith were both activated off of the COVID list on Wednesday, making it seem likely both will be able to suit up for the first round of the playoffs against the 49ers. Given how run-heavy the 49ers are and how dynamic their playmakers are in space, the return of Parsons is big news for Dallas and a slight knock to Elijah Mitchell. Tyron Smith's return is good news for both Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard, but the Dallas running backs are in for an incredibly tough matchup against a 49ers defense that has allowed the fewest points to running backs over the past month. Given how Dallas splits the rushing work as well, both Zeke and Pollard are not recommended plays during the first round of fantasy playoff action, even with Smith back.--Eric Samulski
