6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers forward/center Meyers Leonard ended up being a surprising leading scorer for the team in Saturday's preseason opener against Toronto, getting 14 points in 15 minutes off the bench. He went 4-for-5 from the field, finishing with three made triples. It was a great shooting performance from the big man, as he even outscored Kawhi in the battle of the Leonards, but you shouldn't get too excited by this. He only had three 10-plus point games during the whole of last season, averaging less than eight minutes per game. As a six-year veteran, Leonard isn't a promising youngster anymore either, so he should be avoided in fantasy basketball.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
