Mets Hope Francisco Lindor Could Be Activated Tuesday
3 years agoThe New York Mets are hoping that shortstop Francisco Lindor (oblique) could be ready to be activated from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday, according to Justin Toscano of NorthJersey.com. Lindor has been out since mid-July with a Grade 2 oblique strain after slashing .228/.326/.376 with 11 homers, eight steals, 36 RBI and 49 runs scored over 87 games. The injury came right as he was heating up at the plate, as he was slashing .333/.489/.500 with two homers, two steals, 10 RBI and nine runs scored over 12 games in July. Managers should keep a close eye out for updates over the next two days, but all signs are pointing to Lindor's return very soon.
