The Memphis Grizzlies declined the $14.8 million option for guard Luke Kennard on Saturday. The 28-year-old appeared in only 39 games for Memphis last season, averaging 11.0 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.9 rebounds. He also shot 45.0% from behind the arc. Memphis hopes to work out a new agreement. But Kennard should draw plenty of interest on the open market for a team looking for a reliable depth piece.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward Luke Kennard (knee) will be available for Tuesday's play-in contest against the Golden State Warriors. Right knee soreness kept Kennard off the court on Sunday against the Dallas Mavericks, but the team has removed him from the injury report ahead of Tuesday's matchup. Kennard occasionally pops off for a big game but mostly takes the backseat in Grizzlies games. He has averaged only 4.4 points per game in April, despite logging over 20 minutes on most nights.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Memphis Grizzlies shooting guard Luke Kennard (ankle) has been upgraded from probable to available ahead of Wednesday's clash against Charlotte. The former Duke product is ready for an eighth consecutive appearance. Kennard has finally found his shooting stroke in 2025, sinking 51.4 percent from beyond the arc to average 11.1 points. The Hornets allow the eighth-most three-point attempts in the league, making this a favorable matchup for Kennard.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Memphis Grizzlies guard Luke Kennard (hamstring) was originally listed as out for Monday night's matchup against the Mavs, but he was upgraded to questionable in the afternoon and ultimately will be able to give it a go. He has stepped into a very involved role with Desmond Bane (ankle) and Ja Morant (shoulder) off the floor, as they will be on Monday. With those guards out, Kennard's usage has jumped to 17.3% from his season average of 14.3%. In the three games he has played without the two starters, he averaged 8.7 points, 6.0 assists, and 2.7 rebounds. He could be a solid DFS value play if he's able to have a similar workload on Monday, and his availability crowds Cam Spencer and Yuki Kawamura (shoulder) as potential DFS punt plays.--Zach Thompson - RotoBaller

Memphis Grizzlies guard Luke Kennard (hamstring) is available ahead of Monday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. Kennard is back in action following a one-game absence due to hamstring soreness. Normally, Kennard's status isn't noteworthy, but the Grizzlies are going to need to lean on him more with them being shorthanded. Kennard has finished with double digit points in four of his last five games. He's worth a look as a deep league streaming option with the Grizzlies shorthanded right now.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
