Melvin Ingram Forces Game-Changing Fumble
6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers Pro Bowl defensive end Melvin Ingram is picking up right where he left off. With the score 13-7 in the second quarter and Seattle on the Chargers' one yard line, Ingram drilled Seattle running back Chris Carson. The huge hit dislodged the ball, and it was recovered in the end zone by former-Seahawk Brandon Mebane. The play was a monumental shift as LA held on to the lead throughout the rest of the game. Ingram gave Seattle's offensive line fits all night, and he looks like he's going to be a beast once again. Ingram is one of the defense's critical pieces if they hope to live up to the Super Bowl hype that is going around the league.
