5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon's contract holdout could be coming to an end soon, although no final decisions have been made on when he will report, according to league sources. Gordon was planning to return at some point in October, but he could move his reporting date up. It's good news for those that have been stashing Gordon and bad news for those that own Austin Ekeler. Ekeler will still have a role when Gordon is back, but his fantasy value will take a sizable hit while sharing touches with Gordon. With Gordon still away, Ekeler is an easy top-five fantasy back in Week 4 against the reeling Dolphins. With Gordon possibly ending his holdout soon, now looks like a pretty good time to sell high on Ekeler.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
