6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon (knee) is not expected to play on Thursday night against the Chiefs. When Gordon shook his head no when asked if he was playing. With Austin Ekeler (concussion, neck) also ruled out, it'll be rookie Justin Jackson and Detrez Newsome taking backfield touches in a big divisional matchup in a hostile environment. Jackson should see the lion's share of the work and will have strong RB2 upside in what could be a high-scoring game.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
