Melvin Gordon III Questionable For Monday Night Football
2 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III (ribs, neck) is officially questionable for the team's Week 6 showdown with the Los Angeles Chargers. Gordon was listed as a limited participant in practice all week. The veteran assumed starting duties for the Broncos following a season-ending ACL tear suffered by Javonte Williams (knee) in Week 4. He handled 15 carries and three receptions last week while sharing the backfield with Mike Boone. If Gordon can suit up on Monday night, he will be a solid fantasy RB2 against a Chargers defense that has allowed the most PPR fantasy points to opposing running backs so far this season. Boone and Latavius Murray would likely split touches if Gordon is sidelined and would therefore both be in play as flex options. If either is available on waivers, fantasy managers should look to add them as a backup plan if relying on Gordon to start.
