6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon (knee) said he is feeling much better and will push to be a game-time decision for Thursday's big divisional matchup with the Chiefs. Gordon didn't practice Monday and has missed the last two games with a sprained knee. There's even more urgency for him to return with Austin Ekeler (concussion, neck) doubtful to play this week. If Gordon can't return, it'll be rookies Justin Jackson and Detrez Newsome in the backfield. Jackson would have RB2 upside in a good matchup with KC. If Gordon does suit up at less than 100 percent, he'd be more of a low-end RB1 choice.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
