3 years agoNew York Jets offensive lineman Mekhi Becton (knee) was placed on the injured reserve Tuesday. He is expected to be out for four to six weeks while needing arthroscopic knee surgery to clean up damaged MCL cartilage that he suffered in the Week 1 loss to the Carolina Panthers. George Fant will handle left tackle duties while the 22-year-old is sidelined. Becton's absence from the Jets' o-line only hurts QB Zach Wilson and the Jets' offense.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
