Jeff McNeil Continues to Impress in Mets Uniform
6 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Jeff McNeil went 1-for-4 on Saturday with a stolen base in a loss to the Boston Red Sox. McNeil swiped his fifth bag of the year and is currently slashing .335/.389/.494 in 50 games for the Mets this season. The 26-year-old has been one of the biggest bright spots for New York in an otherwise lost season. McNeil's ability to make contact has been one of his best qualities, striking out just 17 times in 170 at-bats. He has likely earned the starting job at second base heading into 2019 and should be on the fantasy radar.
