3 years agoDallas Mavericks forward Maxi Kleber (back) took a hard fall onto his back during Game 1 of the team's series against the Phoenix Suns on Monday. He was able to play through the injury and had a fantastic scoring game, hitting 5-of-8 three-pointers while scoring 19 points, second-most on the team. After the game, while conducting interviews, Kleber was dealing with some back and neck stiffness. He stated, "It's okay right now. It hurts obviously, a little bit, but we're gonna do some treatment and I should be fine." The team has a day off before Wednesday's Game 2.
