Max Muncy Was Sick On Friday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that infielder Max Muncy (illness) was sick all day, which is the reason he was removed from Friday's game early against the San Diego Padres. Muncy went 0-for-3 with an RBI and a strikeout in the contest before being replaced at the hot corner by Chris Taylor in the eventual 5-2 loss to the division rivals. For now, fantasy managers should consider the 32-year-old left-handed slugger day-to-day, but hopefully he's back in the lineup for Saturday's game. After an extremely disappointing 2022 campaign, Muncy has turned things around so far in 2023, slugging a league-high 12 home runs and driving in 27 runs in 28 games, although he's hitting just .239 (22-for-92).
