4 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers president Andrew Friedman said that he expects both third baseman Max Muncy (oblique) and infielder/outfielder Tommy Edman (wrist) to be reinstated from the injured list for the team's next homestand, which begins a week from Monday. Muncy and Edman were set to start their minor-league rehab assignments over the weekend with Triple-A Oklahoma City, so barring a setback, they should both be with the Dodgers' big-league roster soon. Muncy has been out since May 17 with a right-oblique strain, while Edman has yet to play in 2024 after having offseason wrist surgery. The Dodgers acquired him from the Cardinals at the July 30 trade deadline. LA could ease both of them into their starting lineup when they are ready, but by the end of the regular season, both Muncy and Edman should be regular lineup pieces for the Blue.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
