Max Muncy Plays In Simulated Game On Saturday
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy (oblique) played in a simulated game on Saturday with Cody Bellinger. Muncy is dealing with an oblique injury that has kept him out of the lineup since June 11. He has performed well so far in 2021 with 14 home runs, 40 runs, 33 RBI and one steal with a .264 batting average and a .946 OPS. Muncy is an on-base monster with an 18.9% walk rate and a .418 on-base percentage on the season. This is his highest batting average so far since 2018, which ended up as his breakout season. This is good news that Muncy is making progress towards returning from his oblique injury. When Muncy is healthy, the playing time for Matt Beaty will decrease. Continue to keep Muncy stashed in all fantasy formats.
