Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman/third baseman Max Muncy went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk, and a strikeout in Saturday's 8-3 win over the Mets. Muncy destroyed a second-inning Jacob deGrom fastball high into the upper deck of right field for his 14th HR of the season. Muncy has been a surprise fantasy option this season, posting a .257/.397/.586 slash line in 189 plate appearances. At just 60% ownership, Muncy is available to be added by fantasy players, and he is certainly worth an add in 12-team leagues or deeper at this point given his production.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy broke open Wednesday night's win over the Athletics with a three-run home run in the eighth inning off Tyler Ferguson. Muncy's homer was his only hit of the night, as he went 1-for-5 with a strikeout and three RBI. It was just his second home run of the season, and he is still hitting only .191 with a .285 wOBA on the year. He also has a 29 percent strikeout rate, which would be a career worst. The 34-year-old lefty veteran still has time to turn things around, especially if his homer on Wednesday is the start of a power surge. He'll need to find more consistency, though, before he becomes a regular fantasy option even in his regular role in the Dodgers' high-powered offense.--Zach Thompson - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy is out of the starting lineup ahead of Tuesday's game versus the Athletics. This appears to be a routine rest day for Muncy with a left-handed starting pitcher on the mound for the A's. Normally, Muncy is worth rostering in fantasy formats due to his power ability. However, Muncy has been awful to start the season as he's slashing .186/.311/.294 with one home run and seven RBI heading into this contest. Kike Hernandez will bat sixth and cover third base versus left-hander Jeffrey Springs on Tuesday. Muncy is probably worth holding in deep leagues, but isn't offering much fantasy value right now.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Athletics infield prospect Max Muncy extended his current hitting streak at Triple-A to six games on Wednesday. In this contest, Muncy went 4-for-5 with a double. Across his first six games at the Triple-A, Muncy has posted an impressive .414/.400/.655 slash line with four doubles and one round-tripper. Muncy was able to break camp with the MLB roster, with Zack Gelof missing time. However, through his first 21 games in the MLB, Muncy posted an underwhelming .176/.211/.279 slash line with just one home run. During this stretch, he generated a low .248 xwOBA with a low 25.5 percent hard-hit rate. Fantasy managers should expect the No. 6-ranked prospect in the system to return to the big leagues later this summer, especially if he continues this steady production. For now, he is worth stashing in deeper AL-only formats.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy will retreat to the bench for Friday's series opener in Philadelphia at Citizens Bank Park against the Phillies with left-hander Jesus Luzardo toeing the rubber. Veteran infielder Miguel Rojas will get the nod at the hot corner and will hit eighth against Luzardo, who he has one hit against in just two career at-bats. Muncy has been cold to begin the 2025 season offensively, although he did have a two-run double in Wednesday's walk-off win over the Atlanta Braves. Overall, the 34-year-old veteran has gone just 3-for-25 with a run scored and two RBI in his first seven games, so perhaps a day of rest will do him some good on the road. Rojas, 36, isn't really known for his exploits with the bat, so fantasy managers should look elsewhere at third base in DFS. He has one hit in his first 16 at-bats this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
