Max Muncy Leaves Game Early Sunday
1 year agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy (knee) was having his left knee examined in the top of the third inning of Sunday's contest against the Tampa Bay Rays before being removed. Muncy was limping on the bases the inning prior but managed to tag up and advance twice. Chris Taylor replaced him at third base, while James Outman entered the game to play center field. Before leaving the ballgame, Muncy had gone 1-for-2 with his 17th home run of the year, an RBI and two runs scored. The 32-year-old left-handed slugger entered the game hitting just .205 on the season, but he's now up to 17 homers and 38 RBI on the year, so losing him for any amount of time would be a big blow to LA and fantasy managers alike. Check back for more updates on the severity of his knee injury after the game.
