Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 7-3 loss to the Mets. Muncy crushed a fourth-inning Zack Wheeler fastball deep into the center-field seats for his 32nd HR of the season. While the HR total and the 62 RBI to go with it are good season numbers, Muncy has slumped hard in the second half of the season and has just two hits (both HR) in his last seven games. Fantasy owners will have to think carefully about starting Muncy in their lineups down the final stretch. Fortunately, the Dodgers will play their next six games in hitter-friendly Coors Field and Great American Ball Park, so Muncy will have a chance to flex his muscle and help out owners.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy is out of the starting lineup ahead of Tuesday's game versus the Athletics. This appears to be a routine rest day for Muncy with a left-handed starting pitcher on the mound for the A's. Normally, Muncy is worth rostering in fantasy formats due to his power ability. However, Muncy has been awful to start the season as he's slashing .186/.311/.294 with one home run and seven RBI heading into this contest. Kike Hernandez will bat sixth and cover third base versus left-hander Jeffrey Springs on Tuesday. Muncy is probably worth holding in deep leagues, but isn't offering much fantasy value right now.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Athletics infield prospect Max Muncy extended his current hitting streak at Triple-A to six games on Wednesday. In this contest, Muncy went 4-for-5 with a double. Across his first six games at the Triple-A, Muncy has posted an impressive .414/.400/.655 slash line with four doubles and one round-tripper. Muncy was able to break camp with the MLB roster, with Zack Gelof missing time. However, through his first 21 games in the MLB, Muncy posted an underwhelming .176/.211/.279 slash line with just one home run. During this stretch, he generated a low .248 xwOBA with a low 25.5 percent hard-hit rate. Fantasy managers should expect the No. 6-ranked prospect in the system to return to the big leagues later this summer, especially if he continues this steady production. For now, he is worth stashing in deeper AL-only formats.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy will retreat to the bench for Friday's series opener in Philadelphia at Citizens Bank Park against the Phillies with left-hander Jesus Luzardo toeing the rubber. Veteran infielder Miguel Rojas will get the nod at the hot corner and will hit eighth against Luzardo, who he has one hit against in just two career at-bats. Muncy has been cold to begin the 2025 season offensively, although he did have a two-run double in Wednesday's walk-off win over the Atlanta Braves. Overall, the 34-year-old veteran has gone just 3-for-25 with a run scored and two RBI in his first seven games, so perhaps a day of rest will do him some good on the road. Rojas, 36, isn't really known for his exploits with the bat, so fantasy managers should look elsewhere at third base in DFS. He has one hit in his first 16 at-bats this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Athletics infield prospect Max Muncy went 1-for-4 with his first career home run during their victory over the Seattle Mariners on Friday evening. Muncy would go deep in the eighth off Seattle left-hander Tayler Saucedo. This was also his first career MLB hit. Muncy was able to break camp with the MLB roster due to Zack Gelof (wrist) opening the campaign on the injured list. During the first two games of the season, Muncy has been deployed as the starting second baseman. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his development, but it appears he will continue to see everyday opportunities in the starting lineup. Last season, the former 25th overall pick posted a solid .277/.374/.491 line across 50 games at Triple-A. He is worth monitoring in deeper formats as he could be a viable middle infielder if he continues progressing at the MLB level.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
