Max Muncy Exits Friday’s Game Early With Side Tightness
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy exited Friday's game against the Rangers early with side tightness. He went 1-for-1 with a two-run home run before exiting. The Dodgers infielder was replaced in the game by Albert Pujols. According to Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, Muncy "felt something in his oblique area" and is considered "day-to-day." It's unclear exactly how much time the 30-year-old will miss and if the injury will require a trip to the 10-day injured list. Albert Pujols, Matt Beaty, and Zach McKinstry should see additional at-bats while Muncy is sidelined.
