Max Muncy Continuing To Find Ways To Improve
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Max Muncy enjoyed an All-Star season in 2019, but the 29-year-old still spent all offseason working on improving his game. In an article by Cary Osborne, Muncy mentioned that a lot of his focus was on developing a better plan of attack against off-speed pitches. In 2019, he carried a .197 average and .324 slugging percentage against breaking balls, yet excelled in almost every other offensive area. If Muncy can improve his statistics against off-speed pitching, his fantasy ceiling will rise even higher. Considering Muncy's multi-positional eligibility, the stacked lineup that he plays in, and his current NFBC ADP of 70, he is a fantastic draft value.
