Max Muncy Continues To Slump In Second Half
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first/third baseman Max Muncy went 0-for-3 with three strikeouts in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Astros. Muncy, who was a fantasy All-Star for the first half of the season, has not been able to get things going in the second half, as he is hitting just .192. Even with the slump, Muncy has a career-high batting average (.256 vs .230 career), home run/fly ball rate (27.9% vs 1.2% career), and hard-hit rate (46.4% vs 39.9% career). Hopefully, he can figure things out and continue to impress, but given his career numbers, it would also not be a surprise if negative regression were to continue.
