7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Max Muncy will bat second in the order on Monday against starter Vince Velasquez and the Phillies at home. That moves regular first baseman Cody Bellinger to the outfield for his ninth start. Outfielder Matt Kemp, the team's best hitter, is sitting. Muncy hit a two-run, pinch-hit home run on Sunday, and his .354 on-base percentage is why manager Dave Roberts is putting him in the two-hole. Roberts even mentioned that Muncy will get starts at second base since no one on the team seems interested in doing well there. Muncy is an intriguing deep league waiver add should he start seeing regular starts.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
