Max Meyer Will Make MLB Debut Saturday
2 years agoThe Miami Marlins are calling up starting pitcher Max Meyer to make his MLB debut for Saturday's contest versus the Phillies. Despite battling through an elbow injury in May, the 23-year-old has started 12 games at Triple-A this season, compiling a 3.72 ERA and 1.00 WHIP with 65 K through 58 IP. Meyer was the third overall selection of the 2020 draft and is currently ranked the fifth-best pitching prospect in baseball according to MLB.com. Fantasy managers will want to scoop up the right-hander for pitching depth in the second half of the season, but may want to give him a start or two on the bench until he find his reigns at the big-league level.
