2 years agoMiami Marlins pitching prospect Max Meyer (elbow) will throw off of flat ground Thursday. The talented right-hander was placed on the injured list last week with right ulnar nerve irritation. The 23-year-old got off to a sizzling start for Triple-A Jacksonville, but struggled in his last couple of starts. Those struggles could be contributed to his health. For the season, Meyer is 2-2 with a 4.54 ERA and 44 strikeouts in 39 1/3 innings. Pending health, Meyer should make his debut at some point in 2022 and will be worth rostering in all formats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
