Max Meyer Settling Back In Following Injury
2 years agoMiami Marlins pitching prospect Max Meyer has made two starts in the minors in June after missing about a month due to ulnar nerve irritation. Over those two starts, he's pitched seven innings and he's allowed two hits, no walks and two earned runs while striking out nine. The first start came at Double-A Jupiter while the second start, last Wednesday, came at Triple-A Jacksonville. Meyer still certainly needs to work up his pitch count before a promotion to the majors can be considered. Due to his lofty upside, he needs to be on the radar of fantasy managers in all leagues at this point, but he isn't a must-roster player in standard leagues quite yet.
